Competition winners are awarded prizes.
Here is a list of the competitions: 1 demo (A) 2 64kb intro (A) 3 4kb intro (A) 4 256b intro (A) 5 tracked music (B) 6 freestyle music (B) 7 pixeled graphics (B) 8 raytraced graphics (B) 9 freestyle graphics (B) We haven't included any abstract categories because we intended on displaying only high quality works. Even if a presentation isn't able to comfortably fit into one of the classic catagories, try to select the one catagory that best describes your work. We've changed the old system of competition, everything is now divided into two catagories, "A" and "B": A) SCREENED - all contributions will be shown in the main competition time B) VOTED INDIVIDUALY - visitors will be able to vote after 15:00 on special computer It's needless to write anything about category "A" because we think everything is clear enough but we'd like to write something about category "B". It's simple: we don't want you to get bored. You can use our computers to listen to tracked music, you can jump through patterns, take a closer look to pictures, etc. There will NOT be any kind of preselection; we won't choose what is good for you, that's your job! Everyone is gonna have his chance to show his work. But keep in mind that we reserve the right to disqualify any work, specificially if it is illegal in some manner (e.g. explicit visuals or copyright infringement) We'll try to run all entries before the competition; so if you have any problems we'll do what we can to help you solve them before the actual competition. According to objectivity it's denied to vote for your own entries, same for entries made by your group mates. Now there are limitations to all categories: 1 demo (A) - max. filesize: 15MB (15728640 bytes) - max. playing time: 6 minutes - supports resolution 800x600 - must stop when ESC is pressed - must free all used memory and system resources after quitting your entry 2 64kb intro (A) - max. filesize: 64KB (65536 bytes) - max. plying time: 5 minutes - supports resolution 800x600 - must stop when ESC is pressed - must free all used memory and system resources after quitting your entry 3 4kb intro (A) - max. filesize: 4KB (4096 bytes) - max. playing time: 2 minutes - supports resolution 800x600 - must stop when ESC is pressed - must free all used memory and system resources after quitting your entry 4 256b intro (A) - max. filesize: 256 bytes - max. playing time: 30 seconds - must stop when ESC is pressed - must free all used memory and system resources after quitting your entry Your "A" production will be displayed though this computer:
5 tracked music (B) - max. filesize: 800KB (819200 bytes) - allowed formats: IT, XM, S3M, MOD, RNS - max. playing time: 4 minutes - your entry can't be a remix - you cannot use VST plugins 6 freestyle music (B) - max. filesize: 6MB (6291456 bytes) - allowed formats: all - max. playing time: 4 minutes - your entry can't be a remix 7 pixeled graphics (B) - allowed formats: JPG, BMP, PNG, GIF - the picture must be hand-drawn on computer, it's not allowed to raytrace or scan anything 8 raytraced graphics (B) - allowed formats: JPG, BMP, PNG, GIF - the picture must be rendered (it's allowed to add hand-drawn author's signature) 9 freestyle graphics (B) - allowed formats: JPG, BMP, PNG, GIF - you can create picture using anything you want Ways how to participate are these:
